When food feels harder than it should

Many people seek nutrition support because food has become stressful, confusing or emotionally loaded.

You may feel disconnected from hunger or fullness cues

You may carry fear or guilt around certain foods

You may want to support your health without dieting

A different way to approach nutrition

My nutrition services are designed for people who want to care for their bodies without punishment, restriction or shame.

Sessions are collaborative and personalized. There are no rigid meal plans, calorie tracking or “good vs bad” food lists.

    • Understanding how your body actually responds to food

    • Untangling beliefs rooted in diet culture

    • Supporting physical health AND mental AND emotional wellbeing

    • Building a more peaceful, sustainable relationship with food

    • Standalone nutrition counseling, or

    • Nutrition support integrated with therapy, where we address both the emotional and behavioral pieces alongside nutritional guidance

    • Understand your body’s nutritional needs

    • Identify patterns that impact energy, mood and wellbeing

    • Reduce stress and fear around food

    • Move away from diet-culture rules

    • Build sustainable, flexible eating patterns

At the end of the day, I want you to know:

There isnt just one “right way” to eat. Just like bodies, eating patterns can come in all different shapes and sizes!

What makes this work different

Nutrition support that’s grounded in both science & real life

Many people come to nutrition counseling knowing what they “should” do—but feeling stuck when it comes to actually supporting their bodies in a way that feels sustainable.

What makes this work different is that we don’t just talk about food in isolation.

As both a dietitian and a therapist, I approach nutrition through a broader lens—one that considers how physiology, stress, emotions, habits, and life context all shape the way we eat. Nutrition decisions don’t happen on paper; they happen in real bodies, on busy days, in changing seasons of life.

Rather than prescribing rigid plans or one-size-fits-all rules, we focus on:

  • Understanding how your body responds to food

  • Supporting energy, digestion, and overall wellbeing

  • Reducing confusion and second-guessing around eating

  • Building nutrition strategies that actually work in your day-to-day life

I also bring lived experience to this work. I understand how easily nutrition can shift from support into control, and how that often leads to frustration rather than better health. Because of that, I help clients use nutrition as a tool for care, consistency, and nourishment—not as a way to override their bodies or push past their needs.

The goal isn’t perfection.
It’s developing a way of eating that supports your health and fits your life.
